what an experience for the 1st exam of IMU seremban...forget bout good old days of memorizing the findings...here..if u dun get the abnormal findings...say bye bye..
i dunno which wan is more stressful..the exams? or the Wait for the exams.. u see ALL the batch mates are done by thursday.. including from other postings.. and in the end, its left with 5 of us under Prof Cheong to be tested on Friday..while Everyone is enjoying!! i even skipped CG for this...at one point..i just wanna get over it...pass or fail..
come that day..got a great patient..even can joke while taking his history, good signs, obvious diagnosis..tried arrange the history and physical findings..then..Another Long Wait.. supposed to have only 1 hour, but dragged on to almost 3hours!!..talked to groupmates, read patient's newspaper..waited and waited..nurse came to measure patient's BP, and it was sky high!! (was borderline high in the morning)most probably he see i nervous he also got nervous..sorry la..cant help it
and finally, the hour arrived as Prof Cheong came with a stern face without smile, and without wasting any time i rattled my presentation to him, without even looking at the patient!! and time seemed to move so so so slow, as i talked faster and faster.. and in a while..its over!! good comments from him, and as i told my mates, talk no need money...lets wait for the real results 1st..
Thank the Lord for an awesome mentor, good doctor, nice patient, great mates throughout this posting, and of cos..better days ahead!!!
