sob... my holidays have been wonderful so far.. Penang food, Sabah adventures.... sleeping and watching tv all day....and now...its the last week in fantasy... back to reality soon..
well... it seems that a string of bad news is gonna await me in IMU!! everyone used to complain about that old, run down, leaking , ugly, craked structure we call a uni.. and now...they suddenly found money to renovate it...massive renovations which us going to take a year!!! my goodness... were gonna concentrate on endocrine lectures and present PBL topics while listening to some rock band playing their hit songs with chainsaws and jackhammer outside?? i remember spending a few month studying in chia ling's apartment in sem 1 because my neighbour is renovating. crappy days.. and now the nighmare is gonna repeat it self in imu again...(faint) even the atrium (the only nice place) is now covered with planks and scaffolding all the way to the top!! damn indon workers could be smoking pot inside the for all we know. pls dun tell me theyre gonna hold imu cup in the mph....the flagpole outside is now gonna be some lecturer's wing.. i think VL must have got some inspiration from chancellor's hall in UMS.. pity that guy onli got a small little office for him to sit there and listen to complaints all day long.
and this new timetable...what are they thinking putting lectures on 415 pm??!!! thats the time when we normal human beings sleep!! let me quote FIA again '..... this is an ungodly hour to have a lecture'.. none of us can put it better than Paul Jambunathan.. 'stupid!!' And what is English Placement Test?? i tot we did that before we came in?? i havent wriiten an essay in years!! failing this..ur gonna have to attend boring english classes once a week learning verbs and adjectives... pls la.... medicine is not in english to start with... thanks to the Greeks.. fever is called pyrexia and cough is called tusis. it makes more sense giving us latin or greek classes...
im gonna use this last week of hols to the max... hope u all have a great time too!!! god bless us
