After so many complaints bout Malaysia's system(which i still maintain most of them.) i guess its time to count my blessings as a Malaysian today. things are not all bad.. and we should be thankful for wat we have...

1. No Hurricane Ali or Typhoon Ah Beng or Tornado Mutusamy or anything like that... look what Katrina did to New Orleans..if that happened to say Penang.. we can kiss the island goodbye.. and the earth hardly shakes... look wat the tsunami did to Acheh....if that happen to KL.. KLCC will be shorter than a char kuay teow store..

2. when was the last time u saw someone killed? when was the last time u even saw a demonstration? for me..it was 98 during the Anwar case...and thats about it....if anything we can be proud of.. we are THE most tolerant bunch of ppl...

3. tell u all a secret.. we will NEVER get bombed!! no terrorist will wanna destroy their haven.. u see an Arab walking around.. u can say Hi...y? Arabs are most welcomed...no need visa.. no one gives them the look during flights.. plenty of halal food.. international banking..internet service.. watever they want is here.. tell u another thing u might not know... the 911 terrorist had a meeting in Sg Long en route to US.. so.....bombing Malaysia would be the silliest thing a terrorist wil do.. 4. name the food u wanna eat.. someone is selling it NOW.. rojak..mee...or Mexican...even if its 3 am.. u wont go hungry. NO ONE fuses food better than us..(dunno wat the Italian thinks when they see laksa spagetti and tandoori pizza)

6. 2nd tallest building in the world..used to be tallest for a while. (still the tallest twin tower.. ) and those who went to see Taipei 101 all agree that it sucks compared to KLCC.

7. after so many visits to Klinik kesihatan and hospitals.. i can surely say that we got one of THE BEST healthcare systems out there.. and certainly the cheapest around. facilities might be primitive.. but well trained nurses and docs ensure diseases get treated the way it should.

So May the Lord bless us and keep us strong and peaceful in the days ahead.. we still can be proud of our country..no matter wat the Singaporeans say.. Lets stick together and prosper together...!!!

ive broken the longest blog drought here... 8 days...! all bcos of busy schedules in uni...

so...quick updates..
1. got to use the new lecture all...ventilation sucks..steep stairs...more stairs to climb..small tables, chairs not comfy...small stage.. wat's good bout it?nice interior design though..
2. anotomy galore....bones, joints... each bone somemore got like 10 parts...1 joint got 6 ligaments..make life so much easier if everywan do hip replacements...
3. haze in KL...thats a mystery though..cos it rains like mad!!
4. learned how to play 3 player mahjongs.. havent got it all figured out yet.. but refraining myself from addiction now.. and NO...i dun gamble
5. broke my 5 year drought of cyber cafe on monday midnight.. killing Lydia was a bliss...haha.. and gals... i think we can make it an alternative to pool... guarantee no hair-blowing, cue-lifting poses when i shoot someone.
6. still havent got into the study mood yet... but im sure it will set in soon....

just before writing this...rain was pouring down like someone up there turned on a high pressure hose!! and guess wat?? just after exiting IMU... i saw 2 kelisa..same silver color...CRASHED into each other!! amazing...undescribable scene.. im talking bout a crash that smashed the whole front!! how often u see that happening? luckily both drivers still can come out to argue....

Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.

This would be the most random and cool trip ive ever done... the plan is to go Port Dickson...get in watever nice hotel we see...and invade the beach for a picnic...and its all good... Vickie, Shobana and their fren Ryan were all a great bunch of buddies....

making the sandwich for the picnic..then...lunch in OUG..and surprise..none of them tried tau foo fa with flavors..interesting..1st stop..Corus Hotel..fake man made beach...not a single soul...but contrary to popular belief..the beaches are clean and the sea is blue.!!

2nd stop..Selesa Beach Resort...natural beach...and again...not a single soul!! where have they gone to?? but were staying here anyways....the sand is burning hot.. and going out will just get us cooked...well done... so..for a while...this is wat we did...

built a sandcastle...well..sort of a sand pyramid...with nth but paper cups and a discarded high heel shoe!!

finally...some satisfying volleyball with the experts...loss 2 straight games..but then beach volleyball was soo cool!!!diving for the ball..sand all over u... near misses..gets u the same rush as football...

and 3rd and final stop..Ristec Hotel for dinner... the banner says.'Makan di hotel?? tak mahal pun...' and it just cost RM 4.5 for a cantonese fried kuay teow..


made a wrong turn while going back that ended us up in PD again...but in the end..it was all fun and we certainly need to meet up again....

well...holidays means penang again...and a MILLION thanks to Chern Wuay for his ever so great hospitality.... b4 i left...KL was in a bad haze... just wanna get out of it asap..and sure enaf...CLEAR BLUE SKY...aah..good 1st sign...the down side...IT WAS BURNING HOT!!!a minute under the sun and ull get drenched..and sunburned...my best estimates says it was 40C!!


1st day was all about great view and scenes of penang..as u know..its not all about eating. CW really gave me a tour of the WHOLE island...from rat island(pulau tikus) to ferringhi to balik pulau and back.... and check out the scenes!!time to brush up my photography skills...

Finally....1 perfect twinkle twinkle song.!!! with me and brian doing 2nd and 3rd parts...all the effort finally paid off... and off to teach new song! they certainly practiced well during the weekdays... all the violins were out of tune when we went there!! at least now were halfway ready for the performance...

b4 that.. we all went to Swensens Subang Parade for dinner... and i was super hungry i just called Mega Burger....4 layers of oily fatty bacon, 2 layer ham, fried egg, cheese, vege..and a large chunk of beef stuffed between 2 toasted burger bread...fries and coleslaw... dunno how many thousand cals...but i need u need 3 stomachs to gulp all those in..i gave up after less than half of it...

it wasnt hard to find the place...but its the opposite to find a place to sit!!...packed to the max with crazy ppl...and of cos some sexy ones...and the 1st gig i saw was a bit flat..not much energy...i think we enjoyed looking at the guitarist expressions than the music.he looked like hes partially in pain, partially in a trance...awesome finger works though...

later...a guy looking like Thani with a beer gut, tight top and Phil Collins voice came to sing... dun really look like a singer on tv..and damn his voice is good.. too bad most of the songs we dunno wan...and finally..after counting to the 11th song.. its turn for Freddie and his church mates to go on stage to be groupies...cant really hear him sing....but at least that worked the crowd a bit..

finally...played pool at almost 2 am...the latest ive ever played... and reached home at 4...what a way to start the hols.....

not to mention 1st time i got the predictions all wrong!!

its a good thing to finish ur assignments and reports early....cos u can start hols earlier!!! and i certainly dun regret spending a few minutes a day doing presentation and reports...in the end...no stress..no regrets..all i get was a great month of selective!! acquired a new skill of baking....got freebies from Gardenia..learned how to write scientific reports and posters.....JUST GREAT!!
finally i get to go k again... its been sooo long....and the gals went there all prepard with RAIN lyrics!! OMG..its RAINING so heavy in the redbox i think we need umbrella...obviously that guys dance is great...but then..the way they go wild each time his face appears on screen..shouting and screaming...huiyo....i think they forgot that he cant hear them la...


singing k is even more exciting when u got someone who REALLY CAN SING..and thats none other than joanna... each time she holds the mic..u just gotta put down urs and listen...the gals are wondering when shes coming out with album..


and finally..gotta meet up with Shabi...watched 'girl fight' on youtube....played with Romeo the dog..and again....went crazy bout Ah Rain....goodness...

i certainly got lots of plan for hols..Penang ..Jb, segamat..u name it... just dunno which wan works out onli....really gotta play b4 suffering in the dreaded sem 5....
