After so many complaints bout Malaysia's system(which i still maintain most of them.) i guess its time to count my blessings as a Malaysian today. things are not all bad.. and we should be thankful for wat we have...

1. No Hurricane Ali or Typhoon Ah Beng or Tornado Mutusamy or anything like that... look what Katrina did to New Orleans..if that happened to say Penang.. we can kiss the island goodbye.. and the earth hardly shakes... look wat the tsunami did to Acheh....if that happen to KL.. KLCC will be shorter than a char kuay teow store..

2. when was the last time u saw someone killed? when was the last time u even saw a demonstration? for me..it was 98 during the Anwar case...and thats about it....if anything we can be proud of.. we are THE most tolerant bunch of ppl...

3. tell u all a secret.. we will NEVER get bombed!! no terrorist will wanna destroy their haven.. u see an Arab walking around.. u can say Hi...y? Arabs are most welcomed...no need visa.. no one gives them the look during flights.. plenty of halal food.. international banking..internet service.. watever they want is here.. tell u another thing u might not know... the 911 terrorist had a meeting in Sg Long en route to US.. so.....bombing Malaysia would be the silliest thing a terrorist wil do..

4. name the food u wanna eat.. someone is selling it NOW.. rojak..mee...or Mexican...even if its 3 am.. u wont go hungry. NO ONE fuses food better than us..(dunno wat the Italian thinks when they see laksa spagetti and tandoori pizza)

5. despite droughts and economic downturns... no one gets hungry.. if anything.. we waste food like no ones business.. we have 3 disasters... Flood, Drought, Haze...thats all.. and none ever last more than a month.

6. 2nd tallest building in the world..used to be tallest for a while. (still the tallest twin tower.. ) and those who went to see Taipei 101 all agree that it sucks compared to KLCC.

7. after so many visits to Klinik kesihatan and hospitals.. i can surely say that we got one of THE BEST healthcare systems out there.. and certainly the cheapest around. facilities might be primitive.. but well trained nurses and docs ensure diseases get treated the way it should.

So May the Lord bless us and keep us strong and peaceful in the days ahead.. we still can be proud of our country..no matter wat the Singaporeans say.. Lets stick together and prosper together...!!!
