let me 1st give u all a preview of this cooking session...its diff from the rest..last thursday.. i helped fetch a lecturer back home...and i realised that after 18 months staying here...shes still not familiar with the surroundings!!..staying alone...seldom goes out...i think if it was me..ill go crazy...
normally im not those sorta very kind hearted guy...but this time... i really felt the need to do something... at least have a dinner...and guess wat? i think cooking would be just the thing to do!
so...here we go again.. menu for the dinner..kam heong crabs, steamed fish, vege and my long awaited winter melon soup!this time.. im the assistant..our head chef Woon Lee really worked her skills all the way...thanks a lot!!
now...crabs must be FRESH!!..no less than being ALIVE..and someone has to do the job....so Tek Jee and me did a chest stab, limb amputation, thoracotomy and body slicing of the crabs...all without anaesthetics!! didn take us 5 minutes to finish the job!
the steam fish was prepared at the same time.. no dissecting this time... but splitting open the fish was another new thing i learn osso..and the Woon Lee's special sauce was truly awesome!
