as part of the food and nutrition selective..we get to visit Gardenia bread factory in Shah Alam today... too bad for those taking patho or BS... im sure they're having a good time learning bout stem cells and EQs...haha....and this trip is certainly NOT just for school or kindergarten kids... everyone learned lots today....

the 1st thing that greeted us there is the wonderful aroma of fresh bread... my goodness..bread never smell so nice at home.. Gardenia makes 30000 loaves of bread in 1 hour in 4 factories!!! thats 800000000 loaves a year.... and that means a lot of money!!!! wonder y i didn take food tech at 1st....

too bad we cant take pics inside the production site...theres just soo much to tell...
a warm welcome...on the left is US grain used in baking Gardenia breads

the wonderful Lorraine giving us the whole gardenia story... its a shame that singaporean own most of it.. some tycoon should just buy over it!!!.. its too delicious to let the kiasu's own our breakfast!
tea time!! coffee with banana quick bites just makes the day!!!( Dr Vishna gave Lorraine a tough time with her dumb questions...c'mon...shes enjoying the gardenia cake herself...)
and the PR ppl there is just smart!! they gave us the new breakthru bread for diabetics...maybe they think we can recommend our diabetic patients to eat that next time...but the goodie pack also includes recipes... just love it...

OOH GARDENIA....SO GOOD U CAN EVEN EAT IT ON ITS OWN
