I was privileged this morning to be free and BOred enough to switch on to TV to watch Bush's annual state of the union speech.. i was amazed at the carefully written 40 minute speech(written by his speech writers..of cos)..its boasting and proud yet humble, cautious yet encouraging, sombre at times yet still able to lift ppl to their feet and applaud... its almost like a propaganda..
Bush: we need to cut and change doctor's liabilities...
healthcare reps: standing ovation for 10 seconds...
Bush: we need to cut foreign oil import..
energy reps: standing ovation.
Bush we need to balance the federal budget..
everyone: cheers and claps...

and he'll end by saying " the state of our union is strong, our cause is just...." and everyone clapped for like 15 mins..

so i was thinking...man..their country must be good for him to give a speech like that.. our economy is up, inflation is down, jobs up...bla bla...so wat about us? if we had that kinda speech.. wat would Bahdawee say? or..wat CAN he say??

PM: harga tol sudah naik! dulu RM1 skarang 1.60!!dulu 1.50, skarang 2.20!!
LDP bosses: Bagus!!(clap clap...)
PM: walaupun harga minyak dunia dah turun..tapi harga minyak kita takkan turun!!
Oil company bosses: ooh.. memang setuju!! (claps...)
PM: kita masih jual air kepada singapore dengan harga 3 sen!!dan kita takkan bina jambatan bengkok itu!!
Sing PM: thts the way man...!!
PM: kita hutang negara lain berbillion billion...dan takkan dapat bayar dalam 10 tahun..
foreign banks: want more??ur always welcomed..
PM: kalau banjir.. kita tak cukup bot pun...
looters and thiefs: whens the next flood coming??
PM: Orang Cheena yang dapat skor maximum pun takkan dapat masuk belajar perubatan..
the Potato skins: lucky for us.. we got onli 3Bs !!

i guess i can be fit for a speech writer position soon....
