KL motor show!! where else can u get to look at HOT, SEXY, CURVY...jaw-dropping.....CARS!! of cos..i went with John, steph and lina at 1100 am... not much ppl yet.... but all of them hopelessly trying to win the Toyota Vios on display by particupating in the lowest bid contest...

The best thing is... u can actually sit and get a feel of most of the cars!! just feel cool for a second. Lina even tried the horn on the Mazda Mx5...embarassing moment. then..in the Honda booth..ASIMO came out and did some moves.. the crowds just went wild!!!!i just dun understand who invented that freak..slow mo ..gimmick...

anyway..a wonderful ending to a nice day...BACK TO LECTURE in the afternoon.. i wonder which wan is gonna be my future car..if ever i can own one....

i've been waiting for the opening of this movie since the starting of the year..and finally it has arrived! Da Vinci's code is the movie. went to watch with vee han, chia ling, nadia, sabena and yoke sin in pyramid TGV after class. the cinema is packed!! security guards all over, asking ppl if they bring camera, PDA..ive never seen anything like this b4... but all this hooha tells u it must ge good....

the movie started as a murder scene in the Louvre, where the museum curator drew some symbols using his own blood before he died. Robert Langdon, an expert in symbols is quickly called and implicated in the murder..and the hunt goes on....the movie claims that....
1. Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene
2. Jesus was just a man...the council of Niceae announced that He was God..
3. Jesus had descendants...and the bloodline continues till today.
4. The holy grail was Mary Magdalene
5. The Catholic church is a big cover up.

after that, we spent almost an hour discussing on 'intelectual' matters.. i believe its even more important now to seek the truth. who is Jesus..and what believing in Him brings us. so my frens.... who are u gonna trust ur life on? Da Vinci....who died years ago leaving a legacy of nice paintings and some fancy tools... or Jesus.. who loves us so much to come and suffer and die for us.. resurrected, and now lives forever more.. and gives eternal life in whoever that believes in Him...

well...its the last day of rotation.. and mother's day also.. i just wanna use up this nite properly...before tomolo when its back to books and havoc again..

i really learned tons today as an 'apprentice'...really..todays conversation with Dr is mostly BUSINESS and MONEY..and of course some medic stuff...so.. a few business tips from 'Donald Trump Sri Petaling'(Dr Prince is rich enaf..and man is he experienced!).... u guys better know this next time..

1. Ur staff gotta prove to u their capabilities...theres no expectation of them..so there won't be any dissapointment when they leave. (Dr Prince fired ppl before.) be friendly to everyone...but no need to please anyone.
2. Dun have price wars with other clinics... if u dun raise the price accordingly.. u die..that simple. if patients tell u other place can do cheaper blood test or urine test or whatever.... then its their choice.. but dun compromise ur cost. cost to run a clinic is around 30000 a MONTH!!
3. U r in a service line.. so make sure u have good service.. not just good doctors.. everyone from staff upward must be well trained...make sure clinic is always clean..things like that. ppl dun mind paying more for good service.
4. if ur running a chain of clinics.. all the places gotta be standardized...from price of consultation to the color of the seats. that makes an impact on patients..(now u know y all the supermarket arrangements all same wan)
5. Since ur in the service line.. relationship with patients is of UTMOST IMPORTANCE... the patients tell doctor things that they woudn tell their wife!! that how important relationship and trust is. dun hesitate to go the extra mile for ur patients.
6. U need to buy medicine from one company..do blood test with another company..a lot of links.. so manage ur sources well... if one source fails..always have backup
7. Saleman will always come to ask u to buy their equipments or medicine or whatever... be wise.. most of them is just trying to make quick money.
8. BEING A DOCTOR IS REALLY TOUGH!! i listen and observe oledi so tired. somemore i got a cold oledi..dunno which patient give to me la

finally i've came to my last part of rotation which is GP posting. i chose Klinik Mega in Sri Petaling..mainly cos its near my place....my doc got the coolest name out there!! Dr PRINCE DEVIES!! it totally suits him. he got an elegant look...(not to mention he's filthy rich.) and carries himself superbly in front of patients. hes also very good with kids..and always gives them sweets.
1st day..as usual la.. dunno anything... look like idiot there.. but luckily all the staff there are really nice.. and helped me in everything...treated me just like the doc...haha..
the doc is probably the MOST PATIENT guy ive ever seen.. he will listen to the patient's grandfather story for 30 minutes!! all the business problems la..personal issues la...who dun like who la...EVERYTHING osso they tell doc...he's just like every patient's best fren!! someday i really wanna be just like that.. if onli i can control my temper more....

IMU Christian Fellowship Camp Rocks!.. 1st of all..MBS Rawang is awesome..swimming pool, indoor courts, rock climbing...u name it..they got the facilities.. and the dorms have air con...Surprise no 1: took my name tag..and its spells EARNEST..what la(reminds me of my bday a few years back.. my name was spelt like that on the CAKE!!..ppl...pls..its ernest).. Surprise no 2: opened the booklet.. group..X-treme!! cool name.. group leader..ME??!!!but i only decided to join a few days ago!! how can this be??!!! dun even know much ppl there... Help me God.. Surprise no 3: my group consist of the President(christine), worship team leaders(jeremy, fabian, ee leen).. CG leaders.. junior preacher(matt)..and of course seniors(cindy, matt).. now this is what i call A BIG CHALLENGE.. but in the end..it was all GREAT... and we really shared sincerely, worked as a team.. and stayed enthusiatic throughout. really a wonderful experience for me.. and i really learn so so much from this camp.. so.. in summary.. 10 things i learned on CF camp..

1. I'm a D type personanity... dun play play..
2. Humans can survive with 5 hours of sleep a day for 3 days.
3. No need to be stressed bout preparing sketches.. the best sketch occurs spontaneously.
4. God could use ANYONE to carry out His work.. and often uses the weak to change the strong
5. Dream BIG... cos God's plan is often greater than what we can imagine
6. Plan ur decisions NOW.. cos when temptations come.. we won't have time to decide
7. Its always worth mending broken relationships.
8. Exhuberant Worship =/= Energetic Singing...cos LIFE itself is a worship
9. God always gives EXTRA GRACE to those who serve Him more
10. Y are we still Worrying today? Don't we know God already hold the future?? just do the best..leave the rest to God..

patient's info if confidential.. but this story i really wanna share. its about a little handsome cute boy.. just 4 months old..born without a right hand.. found in a garden nearby and brought to the hospital, suffering badly from pneumonia and fever. every breath of him takes effort... and hes still struggling with fever. however.. he still smiles to us.. still trying his best to stay alive even at harsh conditions.. it really makes u wonder..how could anyone be so cruel? the baby did no wrong..hes just special...
at night.. its BBQ time!! jon and ash made 'well done' burgers to go with bread... theres also tons of sausages..jellies..drinks...(even alcohol-containing wans).. laugh until neighbours all complain..haha..what sweet memories of KKB...and ill leave u guys with the pics...they speak a thousand words..

nth much happening in the hospital today.. Dr Sevu draaaggged the session until 4 30..Zzzz..

So.. y not go visit the waterfall?? superb!! Darren drove us there.. on the way... beautiful scenes of the dam(dunno what name).. just as the sun sets... heres some pics..

Part of me was excited to get to see some patients.. hoping to get some Dr. House cases.. and Part of me was still thinking what the heck am i here for.. its boring and crappy..and a part of me wants to go back to the hostel and sleep.

Then.. drama happened...1030 am we were at the haemodialysis center listening to the sister explaining about the dialysis procedures.. for NO REASON AT ALL... suddenly i just felt the ground a bit wobbly..was like the floor was tilting over..then the sister's voice got softer and softer... then my vision got blurer and blurer...(i was still trying to fight it off... trying hard to concentrate..) then..at some point...i cant help it anymore..and turn to Wen hao.."wweenhaoo... i ..think..im..dizzy....."..and i heard some commotion going on...i felt i was being helped to a chair.....and.....Blank.....

after a while..maybe a minute later.. i began to see things(all of my frens faces)...and everything just came back to normal in an instant.. they say i was white and pale.. (Darren said i looked a bit green...!!??) but i was back in action after that.. best thing is.. I TOTALLY DUNNO HOW THIS HAPPEN... i ate breakfast.. the place had air con.. im never afraid of blood(this im sure)... im not under stress...certainly not under the influence....what could it BE??its called idiopathic.. that part im a bit worried...

thank god everything went well after that.. clerked a patient.. presented the case.. and life goes on.. many thanks osso to my group mates..(Wen Hao, Darren, Debbie....everyone) for not letting me smash my head into the floor..and the sisters there who kindly helped me osso. at this point.. i havent told you guys yet... its really tooo embarassing..ill tell u guys when i c u all again..Yoke Sin... now i know how it feels like....

i just came back from KKB today.. lots of things to tell.. but 1st of all... a big surprise for me.. my blog counter just hit the 1000 mark!! thats a milestone rite? haha.... thanks ppl.. now for the sizzling stories...
