i really learned tons today as an 'apprentice'...really..todays conversation with Dr is mostly BUSINESS and MONEY..and of course some medic stuff...so.. a few business tips from 'Donald Trump Sri Petaling'(Dr Prince is rich enaf..and man is he experienced!).... u guys better know this next time..
1. Ur staff gotta prove to u their capabilities...theres no expectation of them..so there won't be any dissapointment when they leave. (Dr Prince fired ppl before.) be friendly to everyone...but no need to please anyone.
2. Dun have price wars with other clinics... if u dun raise the price accordingly.. u die..that simple. if patients tell u other place can do cheaper blood test or urine test or whatever.... then its their choice.. but dun compromise ur cost. cost to run a clinic is around 30000 a MONTH!!
3. U r in a service line.. so make sure u have good service.. not just good doctors.. everyone from staff upward must be well trained...make sure clinic is always clean..things like that. ppl dun mind paying more for good service.
4. if ur running a chain of clinics.. all the places gotta be standardized...from price of consultation to the color of the seats. that makes an impact on patients..(now u know y all the supermarket arrangements all same wan)
5. Since ur in the service line.. relationship with patients is of UTMOST IMPORTANCE... the patients tell doctor things that they woudn tell their wife!! that how important relationship and trust is. dun hesitate to go the extra mile for ur patients.
6. U need to buy medicine from one company..do blood test with another company..a lot of links.. so manage ur sources well... if one source fails..always have backup
7. Saleman will always come to ask u to buy their equipments or medicine or whatever... be wise.. most of them is just trying to make quick money.
8. BEING A DOCTOR IS REALLY TOUGH!! i listen and observe oledi so tired. somemore i got a cold oledi..dunno which patient give to me la

Hey ernest, i got some really good points from you about the medicine business!! have taken some points down for when ill be opening my own pharmacy!!
looks like you not only learn about being a doc but also abt business hey!! being a doctor is tough but you're more than capable of succeeding dat challenge!!!
