so..what happened on Easter Sunday??

The Resurrection
(Matthew 28)

They laid Jesus in the tomb and
Rolled a great stone over the door.
But the chief priests and Pharisees
Came to Pilate asking for more.

Saying, "This deceiver while He lived, said
He would rise again in three days.
We want the tomb sealed lest
His disciples steal His body away.

On the first day of the week
A great earthquake was heard.
For an angel of the Lord had rolled
The stone away according to God's word.

His countenance was like lightning,
His raiment white as snow.
The resurrection would soon be told,
For all the world to know.

When the women came to the tomb
With spices, the stone was rolled away.
They stepped inside to see
Where Jesus' body once lay.

The angel said, "Do not be afraid.
Why seek ye the living among the dead?
He is not here, He is risen,
As the Holy Scripture has said."

Mary turned around and saw Jesus,
But knew not that it was her Lord.
Jesus said to her, "Why do you weep?
Who are you looking for?"

Thinking He was a gardener, she said,
"Tell me where He is that I may take Him away."
As He spoke her name she said,
"Master, this is a very special day."

Jesus then appeared to the disciples,
Saying, "Peace be unto you."
Showing them His hands and side,
They were reminded of His Word anew.

"Even as my Father has sent me,
So send I you into the world,
To be witnesses to many of all
That you have seen and heard."

this was the day that Jesus rose from the dead! If He just died like everyone else.. then there's still no meaning to life. If it weren't for His ressurection.. everything we do would be in vain. but now..everything's changed because of Him.. Death is no longer the end.. and we have a meaning and hope for life now! Today God is still alive.. and because of HIm.. we too can have an eternal life with God
My dearest frens.. if you're still wondering whats life is all about..y not give ur life to Jesus.. you got nth to lose and everything to gain!
